{"id":8148,"date":"2016-06-22T19:00:22","date_gmt":"2016-06-22T19:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/?p=8148"},"modified":"2016-06-22T19:00:22","modified_gmt":"2016-06-22T19:00:22","slug":"petite-vallee-the-first-exhibit-is-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2018.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/petite-vallee-the-first-exhibit-is-up\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cPETITE-VALL\u00c9E\u201d: the first exhibit is up!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #1d2129\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span lang=\"en-US\">With the approach of the launch of the <a href=\"http:\/\/festivalenchanson.com\/\">Festival en chanson de Petite-Vall\u00e9e<\/a>, an event that will run from June 30 to July 9, 2016, Rencontres has hastened to install the exhibit by French artist <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/claudia-imbert-in-petite-vallee\/\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Claudia Imbert<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #1d2129\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span lang=\"en-US\">. Entitled \u201cPetite-Vall\u00e9e,\u201d it will be on display until early October on the walls of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Vieille Forge in the Village en chanson.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #1d2129\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span lang=\"en-US\">As part of the France-Qu\u00e9bec project \u201cThe Gasp\u00e9\u2013Picardy for Photography,\u201d Claudia Imbert was invited to the Gasp\u00e9 in June 2015 to do a creative residency. She spent two weeks in Petite-Vall\u00e9e, working in partnership with the residents there as well as with collaborators from the Village en chanson. From that experience in the municipality the eponymous photo series \u201cPetite-Vall\u00e9e\u201d was born.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #1d2129\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Originally composed of eight portraits constructed with precision and great style and presented in the summer of 2015 in the Pointe Taylor woods at New Richmond, the exhibition has been enriched this year by the addition of three new images.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the approach of the launch of the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vall\u00e9e, an event that will run from June 30 to July 9, 2016, Rencontres has hastened to install the exhibit by French artist Claudia Imbert.
