“Alternating between position-taking and poetry, the works presented open up a dialogue on humans; on their impact on the world…” Jean-Sébastien Scraire (Héliographe)

ARTIST RESIDENCIES | 2018
In 2018, seven artists were hosted in the Gaspé: young artists and international photographers from Québec and elsewhere traveled the peninsula to create a place where art invites people to set off and discover the region. For the first time, Rencontres set up a design residency with the aim of creating a multipurpose exhibit pavilion, which will be inaugurated in 2019 for the 10th-anniversary edition.
